Klamath

The Klamath territory sits on the boarder of California and Oregon, centered around Klamath lake and Klamath river, extending north along the Williamson river to the Klamath marsh and Crater lake.

The Klamath basketry is always twined and made in two styles: soft and pliable, or stiff and rigid. Rigid baskets were made of willow warps with split juniper root, split willow, or tule wefts.
