Large and Fine Pomo Polychrome Gift Basket

The basket was used at special events. It is coiled on a willow foundation. The light material is sedge root. The dark black is dyed bulrush root and the red material is redbud. The ornamentation consists of clam shell disc beads and abalone shell pendants. The design completely covers the basket including the bottom.
